Sanitizing and an exclusive antibacterial plastic are the subject of a collaboration agreement between the IPC Group, leader in the professional cleaning sector, and Airest, the catering branch of the Save Group, the company running Venice’s Marco Polo Airport, for installation of HDS hand cleaning systems in food and beverage areas.
A number of dispensers made by the IPC Group company IPC-Euromop and containing sanitizing fluid and soap for personal hygiene have recently been installed by Airest near its catering points in Venice’s Marco Polo airport, Treviso’s A. Canova airport and the motorway service station near Cessalto (Treviso).
Installation of the hygiene points will also be extended to other catering locations run by Airest in shopping centres and motorway service stations, with development of new products and services to sanitise food preparation and serving areas, floors and toilets.
The innovative sanitizing and hygienizing system for public catering and large institutions includes HDS dispensers made from exclusive IPC Euromop antibacterial plastic able to drastically reduce bacterial load and spread and therefore guarantee improved hygiene.
An IPC Cleaning Point has been provided outside the toilet area and near catering areas, offering customers an HDS dispenser containing a sanitizing product, Amuchina gel solution usable without soap and water.
The IPC Cleaning Point thus provides a further service, satisfying the need for hygiene in public places and for people in movement.
IPC HDS plastic made by IPC Euromop, an IPC Group company, guarantees top quality products to provide users with a high standard of hygiene.
The first of its kind, the product has received ISO 22196:2007 certification (Plastics Measurement of antibacterial activity on plastics surfaces) from ICIM of Turin with the support of Padua University.
The development of antibacterial treatments during the plasticization process has enabled a suite of products made from antibacterial materials to be produced specifically for environments where hygiene is fundamental, from the health sector to schools, transport and public areas in general.
