IPC Gansow, a division of IPC Group specialising in the floor care sector, has been nominated as one of the nine finalist of the ISSA/INTERCLEAN Innovation Award 2010. This award will be announced on the opening day of ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam exhibition, that will take place in the Dutch capital from the 26^th to the 29^th of April. 

 

IPC Gansow, short listed from 82 competitor entries, is a candidate together with Hako and Karcher, in the ‘Machine, accessories and components’ category. We will profile the CT40 ECS scrubber drier, a concentration of innovative technology, which represents a milestone in the professional cleaning sector.

 

The core system is made by the exclusive ‘Micro Scrub’, which combines the cleaning power of special microfibre pads, replacing the brushes, with a different relationship between brush revolutions and head pressure. This equates to a 600 rpm rotation speed, (3 times higher compared to a traditional scrubber drier) and very low pressure, so the pad touches the floor, allowing better  oxygenation of the fibres. This can reduce water consumption by up to 80%, assuring higher hygiene and cleaning levels.

 

In line with the ISSA/INTERCLEAN Innovation Award action, which supports Afrikaans water project, the ECS series of IPC Gansow allows significant savings in water, helping the safeguard of this precious resource.
